This is the final show in Series 4 featuring Joe and Patricia Gallagher. She was born in England and brought to Donegal at the age of 9, where the couple now reside today between Gortahork and Gweedore. She had no Irish but picked it up quickly in Scoil Dhún Lúiche.
They met at a dance in the Parish Hall in Gortahork and got married on the 31st of March 1975 in Yorkshire. They didn’t even wait for the first dance before they jetted off to L’loret de
Mar in the South of Spain. They were young at only 20 and 21. It’s a special moment seeing them return after 36 years.
