Where it all Began !

Good Company Productions was founded in 2004 by Evan Chamberlain. From a background of high level producing and experience with various Production Companies, he has such noted works as the Amú Travel Series with Hector, the Fame Game on RTE to Underdogs on TG4 along with 5 IFTA Awards to his credit over an 11 year period.

And Where we are Now !

Therefore when setting up Good Company Productions, he brought with him an abundance of hands on experience of all aspects of television production. He has now succeeded in bringing together a group of very experienced and very gifted researchers, coordinators, directors and producers and offers a fresh and creative approach to making television. With Two Offline Avid Xpress Pro Edit Suites at their offices in Tullamore , Co.Offaly and a great relationship with various Online Suites in Dublin, Good Company Productions can take the initial programme on the entire journey from concept and creation to broadcast.

So What Programmes do we Make !

Most well known for the company’s collaboration with Award Winning Travel Presenter Hector Ó hEochagáin, with Series in Africa, Australia and most recently in the United Kingdom, Good Company Productions has also established itself as a maker of documentaries dealing sympathetically with their subjects, as can be seen from ‘Play it Again Sam’, which was broadcast on TG4 in 2006 and ‘Sam’, the documentary on Sam Maguire, the story of his life and the cup, broadcast at Christmas 2005.

Most recently Good Company Productions has brought us the New Format of  “Mí na Meala” (Honeymoon) on TG4 which is now in its third series and has developed a New Reality Series for TG4 presented by Maura Derrane called “Feirm Factor” in the search for Ireland’s Top Farmer which was broadcast in the Spring of 2009 to very high critical acclaim.

And What are we up to Now !

The Production team are now in Production for a new Entreprenaur Series for RTE under the working title of “Higher Ground” for broadcast in Summer 2009 aswell as Series 3 of Mí na Meala and Series 2 of Feirm Factor.

Good Company Productions is a small personable hands on Company which likes to exercise a personal touch on all television it creates and maintain that throughout the process.

Headed up by Evan Chamberlain who is a Bilingual speaker with a great knowledge of the geographical layout of Ireland, and indeed over the 80 countries he has visited Worldwide, he has a sense of responsibility in what he makes, he has a great love for the past and the stories that must be told before it’s too late and is always thinking up new concepts, ideas and formats.
