This is the final show in Series 4 featuring Joe
and Patricia Gallagher. She was born in England and brought to Donegal at
the age of 9, where the couple now reside today between Gortahork and Gweedore.
She had no Irish but picked it up quickly in Scoil Dhún Lúiche.
They met at a dance in the Parish Hall in
Gortahork and got married on the 31st of March 1975 in Yorkshire.
They didn’t even wait for the first dance before they jetted off to L’loret de
Mar in the South of Spain. They were young
at only 20 and 21. It’s a special moment seeing them return after 36 years.

Filming is up and going for Feirm Factor Season 4 with a new look format once again anchored by Four Live’s Maura Derrane – This year we have Guest Judges from the World of Farming joining our Resident Farming Expert Seán O Lionáird helping us to find out who really has the Feirm Factor. We had a massive application number this year with 212 new farmers vying for the top 12 spots – They have now been chosen and filming has begun – Guest Judges in the Series so far include Michael O’Doherty, Head of Veterinary Science in UCD, former Minister for Agriculture Mary Coughlan, TV Broadcaster Eanna Ní Lamhna, expert Dairy Farmers and the face of Premier Dairies Padraig O Scanaill and former Green Party Leader Trevor Sargent. We have been filming throughout the Summer in Clonakilty, Ballyhaise and Kildalton and hope to take the Final 5 to Wales for the Ultimate Showdown this year ! Broadcast Date for Feirm Factor 4 is January 2012 !

“Pitch Perfect” is a newly formatted 8 part series for TG4 where we select singers from local GAA Clubs all over Ireland who will become a Choir and realise their dream of performing Centre Stage at Croke Park for the All Ireland Football Final on the 3rd Sunday of September 2011.
Two Mentors accompanied by a Local Musical & GAA Legends will weed out their selection of Altos, Sopranos, Basses and Tenors and train these 30 Voices over an 8 week period and mould them into a Choir who will take their position at centre field and sing the two songs of the opposing counties at one of the greatest annual sporting occasions in Ireland in front of a packed house of 80,000 people.
They will represent clubs from all corners of Ireland as the GAA does from Strabane to Schull, Kiltimagh to Killester and Gorey to Gort. Our Mentors will monitor their journey to Croke Park as they train these voices and mould them into a choir that the spectators can join with as they raise their voices and sing the song of their county. It will be a moment to remember as the booklets hold the words, our singers lead the song and our spectators bring the park to life in song.
Here’s how you Apply …
